Whether you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity for a group or an ongoing opportunity for yourself, we have an array of volunteer opportunities available. PLEASE NOTE: The Pantry no longer participates in the court-ordered community service hours program.

Volunteers donated 31,202 hours in fiscal year 2016. According to Independent Sector research on the real value of volunteer time, those hours are worth $735,119 to the Pantry.

Over 65 individuals volunteer on a regular basis. Some of our needs are:

  • Assist clients Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday mornings, 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM
    Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
    Thursday evenings from 5:15 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Re-stock shelves Monday through Friday anytime between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
  • Food rescue drivers – Drivers license is required. A Pantry van is available for pick-ups.
  • Special talents: translation (especially Spanish), event planning, publicity
