LIHEAP – Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

Get help paying your home heating bills.

The LIHEAP program assists eligible households in paying their gas and/or electric bills.  Eligible households are determined by household size, income, geographical location, and type of fuel used.

SNAP – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

SNAP assists eligible people who need help buying food for themselves and their children.  Benefits are delivered electronically through the Illinois Link card, and the dollar amount is based on the number of people in a household, income, and expenses.  There is an income guideline to receive this benefit.

Tax Preparation and Budgeting

Clients receive information on preparing income tax returns and budgeting.  Free one-on-one consultations will be available.

A tax representative is available during tax season.

A financial advisor is available each quarter.
The Winter quarter will be scheduled soon.
