LIHEAP – Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

Get help paying your home heating bills.

The LIHEAP program assists eligible households in paying their gas and/or electric bills.  Eligible households are determined by household size, income, geographical location, and type of fuel used.

To meet with a LIHEAP Representative, please call 630-512-9921 for an appointment.


SNAP – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

SNAP assists eligible people who need help buying food for themselves and their children.  Benefits are delivered electronically through the Illinois Link card, and the dollar amount is based on the number of people in a household, income, and expenses.  There is an income guideline to receive this benefit.

Financial Planning

On Thursday, May 18, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Tim McGrath will be available to talk to clients about financial planning.

Financial Literacy

On Thursday, May 25, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, there will be a Financial Literacy Program presented by Hope’s Front Door.
